The Deer Hill Fleece Story

What started out over 14 years ago as a part-time business has blossomed into a full-time operation for us. We began making hand crafted hats and headbands for a local cross country ski area. We then expanded our line to include vests, jackets, zip t-necks & items for babies, children & pets.

Friends who were Nordic or Alpine skiers wanted to know where they could purchase our line of American made fleece clothing, so we took our product line on the road. We now have a number of retail shops that carry our line of quality fleece clothing and Accessories for Adults, Babies, Children & Pets .

Throughout our growth, we've been dedicated to providing high-quality, locally made, durable fleece clothing and fashionable accessories. Our line features the finest raw materials ---fabrics purchased from Malden Mills, YKK zippers --- assembled by a great crew of local stitchers. We have designed many of our pieces on requests made by outdoor enthusiasts and shop owners.

Throughout all of this, we've always been concerned about fleece pieces going into landfill. Eight years ago we solved that challenge by creating the "purr--fect" pet bed filled with all the fleece piece leftovers! We love to see these pieces put to good use, and the animals who have slept on one of our beds just love them too!
